One day in May
The famous bands in Asia, Mayday, which is my favorite band as well, their music are popular in young generation over 10 years. I should say, their music and spirit just never die or getting old.
This band was “made” in Taiwan. It established in 1995, the band’s name was “so-band”. “so-band” comes from a joke. In Taiwanese, toilet is pronounced like “band so”, so they just switch the orders of the words and make it as “so-band”. In 1997, they change their name to Mayday. wedding dresses Their members are Ashin (A Shin) (vocalist), Monster (Guai Shou) and Stone (Shi Tou) (lead guitars), Masa (Ma-sha) (bass guitar) and Guan You (Guan-You) (drums). My favorite one in here are Ashin which is a designer as well, he has his own brand called Stayreal. Till 1999, they had some chance to participating in some music festivals and had some fans. Also in 1999, Guan You became to their drummer. Before Guan You, this band had 3 drummers.
From late of 1990s to now, mayday had over 20 music works published, half of these works are their concert video. Recent years, they had world tour concert. Even the people in US, CA can go see their concert. Except music works, they also have books, movies and documentary films published. wedding dresses Till now they gained many rewards such as most famous music awards in Asia, Golden Melody Awards. They also make lots music to other singers.
Mayday’s songs has lots sprites on it, it’s not just like other normal songs always talk about love and other relationship stuff. It also talks about dreams, life, and spirit. wedding gowns Such as Nine Ball, which was my favorite one, this song is talk the kids who skip classes and don’t know where to go, they are missing in their life, don’t know what to do, don’t know where to go, just run away from the boring classroom but also feel guilty. Their new studio album Poetry of the Day After, I love all of the songs in there. This one is talk about dreams, about the life after graduate from school, the times pass by. When you getting older and older, you should still live with dreams, hopes an love, not just survive in the world and forgot to live.
